The Great Southern Street Machine Association, organiser of the annual Show and Shine, has a growing membership.
Meetings are held on the first Friday of every month in the clubrooms on Sanford Road.
After a sausage sizzle and social get-together, club members meet informally to read about other clubs in their newsletters, talk about their cars, exchange information and advice and plan monthly runs.
Meetings are also an invaluable source of help and information to inexperienced owners buying and restoring cars.
Club members travel to street machine and hot rod events throughout the State, and are regulars at the Rev Heads at Narrogin in November and at Motorvation, held at the Kwinana Motorplex in January.
New members are always welcome.
