Well its that time of year again, the Annual Albany Show n Shine is here! Every year the club and its members work hard to bring you a great show that we hope you enjoy, because we certainly do!
As usual we start the weekend off with our Super cruise, which leaves Eyre Park off Middleton Rd on Sat arvo at 2pm and will finish this year at our club rooms on Sanford Rd. Come for a cruise, see the sights, chat to fellow entrants and car enthusiasts.
If you attended our show last year, you will know that following our supercruise we added a burnout competition on Saturday night to our weekend. If you haven’t well your in for something special! Last year was a huge success and this year we are hoping for an even better show with some great half time entertainment not to be missed. Theres heaps of prize money up for grabs so get your entries in. The comp is held at the Albany Attwell Park Speedway, there will be canteen and bar facilities available, the gates open at 6pm til late. Bring the family and enjoy our burnout comp. It certainly adds something extra to our weekend, and really starts it off with a bang!
Then we have our main event on the Sunday, the Albany Show n Shine. We are at Railways Football club on Lockyer Ave again this year. As always we provide a secure venue for entrants and there is canteen and bar facilities on the day at Railways, there will also be kids rides, a traders alley, sound off comp, food vans, plenty more to see and do, as well as a heap of quality cars in our static display. The show is a great family day out, with part proceeds to charity & with plenty to keep the kids entertained, something we strive to achieve every year.
